1000 colaboradores en Juderías de Europa en Facebook. #JuderíasDeEuropa

Welcome to our group. 1000 is an important number. With more members there are more responsibilities. When starting this group for friends and interested in the location of the old Jewish quarters of Europe, we thought that we would limit ourselves to the places that we had already visited such as Prague, Krakow, Amsterdam, and some in Spain such as Cordoba, Segovia, and Sagunto. When we began to look for the origins of our Semah family in Valencia and geolocate and visit the Jewish Quarters of the Valencian Community, we met many people and references that motivated us to expand this project. There are already 140 Jewish quarters in Spain and Portugal geolocated on Google Maps, and a score more in the Sephardic Routes countries. We continue adding, correcting and searching so that they can be located, visited, and hopefully, identified by local authorities and organizations. We are also expanding on Bing, OpenStreet, and Facebook maps. Maps of other countries in Europe, North Africa, and Israel are in production. This is the link to the Google map “Jewish Quarters of Spain and Portugal.” You can add your photos, reviews, and continue helping with contributions, corrections, and conversations to learn more about our Sephardic past.
